About This Station

The station is powered by a wireless Davis VP2 weather station. The data is collected every 10 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Meteobridge Pro Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

About This City

Oak Ridge North began as Oak Ridge North Subdivision. In 1978, Oak Ridge Civic Club was formed by citizens of the community and investigated the possibility of incorporating to forestall annexation by the City of Houston. Oak Ridge North was incorporated in 1979 as a Type A General Law City.

Whether your plans are to live, work, or play you are sure to have an enjoyable time. Located just off I-45 about 30 miles north of Houston is where you'll find this small community amongst the large oak trees. Oak Ridge North is home to just over 3,000 residents who affectionately refer to it as “What a Hometown Should Be”.
